RATA

Foundation for advanced knowledge
Mission · RaTaFold
§ 01 — Mission

Advanced knowledge — held in trust for humanity.

The foundation begins from a single conviction: that the deepest structures of the natural world — life, matter, language, thought — should be made accessible to anyone who cares to look. What was once the province of a few institutions can become a shared inheritance.

RATA is the name we give to that inheritance: advanced knowledge, carefully arrived at, and held openly for the people whose world it describes.

We are not a laboratory and we are not a vendor. We are a small foundation — independent, open by default, and committed to results that can be inspected, reproduced, and improved upon by anyone, anywhere.

Our work lives at the boundary of mathematics, computation, and the natural sciences. It is patient work, carried with a single discipline: that whatever we learn, we give back — fully, in the open, in service of humanity.

I · In Trust
Held for humanity, not above it.
II · Open
No paywall between humanity and its own knowledge.
III · Verifiable
Every claim, one that can be checked.
§ 02 — Featured Work

RaTaFold — a structural answer
for every sequence.

A foundation devoted to the deepest questions in nature — the shape of proteins, the order of matter, the structure of thought — and to placing what we learn, openly and verifiably, in the hands of humanity.

RaTaFold takes on the long-standing problem of protein structure: given a sequence of amino acids, what shape does the chain take? Where simulation grows slow and stochastic, RaTaFold offers a direct, deterministic answer.

Every prediction is reproducible and inspectable end to end. There is no opaque oracle to consult — only a procedure that can be re-run, examined, and trusted on its own terms.
